My stay at The Sir Thomas Hotel had its ups and downs. the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making a great effort to ensure I was comfortable. However, the room left much to be desired; it felt cold and there were some cleanliness issues that detracted from the experience. Despite the good location and decent breakfast, I can’t say I would rush back anytime soon.

Rooms
5.0
The room I received was chilly and showed signs of wear with some cleanliness issues. I noticed holes in the flooring and an overall lack of maintenance. It definitely could use a renovation to enhance comfort.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. they were responsive to my needs, like moving my room when I had a heating issue, which I really appreciated.
Location
8.0
The hotel is centrally located, just minutes from the Cavern Club and Albert Dock. this made exploring the city very convenient and enjoyable.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was another highlight—well-prepared and offered fresh options, although it often wasn’t ready on time. it was a shame as I had early plans most days.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities could use improvement, especially regarding noise insulation. the bar was a fun spot, but having no food service late at night was disappointing.

5.6/10

I had a generally positive stay at The Sir Thomas Hotel, primarily due to the central location and the friendly staff. However, there were a few issues such as some noise from outside and the fact that the lift was out of order during my visit. Overall, it served as a reasonable base for exploring Liverpool.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean but felt a bit outdated and could have used better lighting. The single-glazed windows let in quite a bit of noise from the street below, which was distracting at times, especially since there were no curtains to block the light in the morning. The room was comfortable enough, though, just a bit tired.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. They helped accommodate a room change with no fuss and made me feel well taken care of, which really enhanced my experience at the hotel.
Location
8.0
The hotel is beautifully situated in the center of Liverpool, making it easy to explore various attractions. I enjoyed being close to the Museum Quarter, Lime St Station, and the vibrant Cavern Quarter, which made my city exploration a breeze.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated the breakfast options, which were tasty and well-presented in a clean dining area. The hotel bar also had a lovely atmosphere and I enjoyed a drink or two after a long day of sightseeing.
Facilities
5.0
While I found the facilities to be generally good, the issues with the lift were a major inconvenience, especially when it came to moving luggage up and down the stairs. On the plus side, the hotel was in the process of renovations, which should improve things in the future.

7.0/10

I had a good time at The Sir Thomas Hotel, with its central location making it super easy to explore Liverpool. The staff were truly amazing, rolling out the red carpet for my experience. However, the room itself felt a bit dated and not quite the quiet retreat I hoped for, especially with some noise from the street at night.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious but a bit outdated, and I really missed having more USB sockets by the bedside. The view was nice, but the noise from the alley outside made it hard to sleep soundly.
Service
10.0
The staff were beyond friendly and really attentive—I couldn't have asked for better service. They made my stay feel special, from the cocktails to the breakfast.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect—right in the heart of Liverpool. I was able to walk to all the main attractions, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was a highlight with a decent selection, and the dining area was clean and well-presented. The cocktails I had were great too, especially during happy hour.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had some nice facilities, but I think it could benefit from some updates in the rooms, particularly with better soundproofing and revamped decor.

6.2/10

I had a mixed experience at The Sir Thomas Hotel. While the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, consistently going above and beyond, I found the rooms to be a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The central location is great for exploring Liverpool, but noise from the street and lack of proper blackout blinds made it difficult to sleep well. Overall, it's a place with potential but requires attention to some details to enhance guest comfort. 🌟

Rooms
5.0
I stayed in a standard room that felt quite bare and had issues like a non-working TV and only one plug socket. The decor was outdated, and I struggled with street noise and insufficient light-blocking from the blinds.
Service
9.0
The staff were really good, especially Andrew, who made my stay feel welcoming and cared for. They were responsive to requests, which made a significant difference.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally located for discovering Liverpool, just a short walk from attractions and nightlife, which does come with some noise that might disturb sleep.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed drinks at the bar, which had a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. However, I only had breakfast once, and it did not meet my expectations in terms of quality.
Facilities
6.0
The general cleanliness was good, but the lack of amenities like toiletries diminished the comfort level.

My stay at The Sir Thomas Hotel was mixed. While the central location made it convenient for exploring, I encountered issues with customer service that dampened the overall experience. The breakfast was a highlight, truly delicious, but I faced several frustrations that overshadowed the positives.

Rooms
6.0
The room was nicely decorated and clean, but I experienced issues with noise from outside. old windows let in quite a bit of sound.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent. while some staff were friendly, I faced significant delays in the bar and had a disappointing check-out experience.
Location

Breakfast was absolutely stunning. I enjoyed a range of well-presented options, which made my mornings much brighter.
